Sizes/Gauge: Toddler, 5 sts = 1” Keyplate 2 or Mid Gauge 6 or Bulky 3.
Kids: 4.5 sts = 1” Keyplate 2.5 or Midgauge 7 or Bulky 5.
Adult: 4 sts = 1” Keyplate 3 or Midgauge 8 or Bulky 7
Materials: Worsted Weight Yarn: 75(120,150)yds red, 25(35,50) yds

- With
red, ewrap cast on 76 sts. Row counter at zeros. Knit 15 rows.

Starting at left, bring every 6th st to HP. Knit row.
- Lay
green yarn across needles in HP and manually knit each st.
- Knit
4 rows.

Starting at left, bring the 3rd then every 6th st to
HP. Knit row. Repeat step 3.
- Knit
4 rows.

Repeat steps 2-5.

Starting at left, bring to HP needles 2,3,4, (skip next 3 needles, bring to HP
next 3 needles) repeat across row. Knit row with red.

Repeat step 3.

Repeat step 2 knitting row with GREEN yarn.

Repeat step 3 with RED yarn. Break red yarn. Knit 1 row with green.

Transfer every 6th st to adjacent needle.

Transfer sts, so that there are no empty needles between stitches. Knit row.

Transfer every 5th st onto previous needle. Repeat step 13.

Transfer every 4th st onto previous needle. Repeat step 13.

Transfer every 3rd st onto previous needle.

Transfer sts to that there are no empty needles between stitches. Knit 2
rows.

Transfer every other st onto previous needle. Repeat step 17.

Repeat steps 17 & 18.
- Work
I-cord over rest of sts as follows knitting manually without carriage:
- Push
stitches to HP.

Bring yarn under needles and back up to the previous side and across open
needle hooks.

Holding yarn
fairly snug, push back each needle until it knits.

Working in the
same direction,
(not back and
forth as you normally would knit), repeat steps 21 through 23 for 6
rows.(After
a few rows you will see the I-cord forming).

Break yarn leaving a tail and thread through live sts. Pull tight and weave
in end.Sew side seam. Weave in any ends.
